2. Morpalayil Farm Visit
Morpalayil Farms is situated in the heart of Idukki District in Kerala. Known for exotic spices, virgin forests and unparalelled natural beauty, the district of Idukki is one heavenly place for tourists and nature lovers. A good number of tourist attractions are located within the district and are reachable within a couple of hours drive from our farm.
We grow rare fruit plants for sale. Some of them are not native lpants, yet they adapt quickly to our climate. Exotic fruits like Jaboticaba, Litchi, Rambuttan etc are available in our farm.
We have rare medicinal herbs in our farm that are used for Ayurvedic and Siddha medicines. Natural honey, which is also known for its healing qualities, is available for sale.
We also grow ornamental fowls. These are raised for ornamental or exhibition purposes. However, many are also considered dual purpose for their production qualities as well. Breeds like Polish Caps, American Puffs, Aayam Ceami (also known as Karimkozhi in local language) and many Bantom varieties are available.
